6 Days Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Amboseli

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

You will be picked from your hotel or airport at an agreed time in the morning, arrive in the office for briefing by your professional guide/driver about your amazing safari.

Depart from Nairobi driving North West of the capital city to the most famous Masai mara. You will arrive at the view of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, you can take beautiful pictures of the escarpment and also buy beaded jewelry at the crafts shop.

A stopover lunch in Narok town, then proceed to Masai Mara, arrive and check in at your camp or lodge and proceed for an evening game drive. You will view a wider range of wildlife especially the big mammals. Later in the evening drive back to your camp or lodge for a well prepared dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara full day

Your today’s itinerary is much adjustable depending on your time agreement with your driver or guide. After breakfast proceed for a full day game with packed lunch viewing at this rich tree studded savannah grassland, enjoy a great viewing of over 450 species of wildlife and great herds wildebeest and zebras. You will absolutely not miss a chance to see the big 5 animals roaming around the reserve and take memorable photographs. You will have your lunch the Mara River, viewing the hippo pool and never forget this is where the great wildebeest migration occurs.

Proceed for the afternoon game and evening at the beautiful sunset you can opt to visit the Masai village and immerse yourself with authentic Masai culture and enjoy a lively cultural dance, their vibrant clothing and beautiful crafted handiworks. Drive back to freshen up for dinner and overnight stay at your camp or lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Early in the morning you will have a pre breakfast game drive and this is most rewarding because the wildlife species are very active at this time and you might be lucky to spot the hunt and kill of the predators.

Drive back to the camp or lodge for breakfast then check out, head back to Lake Nakuru National park arriving for lunch stopover in Narok and later arrive late evening in lake Nakuru national park check in in your hotel/ lodge freshen up and be ready for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli

After breakfast proceed for game drive in this scenic park which is spectacular for bird watching and rhino sanctuary. You will also never miss to see the great flock of pink flamingoes at the lake shores from the baboon cliff. Rhino sightings as well as predator species of lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards will also be seen and other many species.

Later proceed to Amboseli National Park with packed lunch on the way. You will arrive at the park in the evening, check in at your hotel, freshen up and be ready for a well prepared dinner and overnight stay at camp or lodge.

Day 5: Amboseli full day

After breakfast you will have a full day game drive in this park which has swampy grounds in which elephants and hippos swim. This park commands a panoramic view of the tallest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. This park has an endless underground water supply filtered through thousands of volcanic rocks.

This day you can opt to visit the Masai Village in Amboseli and interact with them, enjoying lively cultural dances. Proceed back to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi

You will have a pre-breakfast game drive as there can be nothing pleasant to the senses than the sunrise. You will absolutely be lucky to encounter the hunt and kill among the predators. Then drive back to your camp or lodge for breakfast, then drive back to Nairobi with lunch en-route. You will arrive evening to be dropped at the hotel or airport.
